A play about Lee, a teenage boy struggling in the early 1950's in the Bushwick Section of Brooklyn, a place where crime and ignorance live side by side.  Lee reaches a point in his life that he emotionally rejects what he has and what he sees and begins his private journey to be someone greater than what is now offered. Through all this he has to deal with a father with severe mental depression and a mother incapable of showing warmth and love.   A family split by trauma and misunderstandings.
